As the days get warmer and the light stays longer, all of the animals are waking up to start their routines of food hunting and places to relax. Flocks of birds are returning North to feeding grounds and places for nests.
This is also a time for us humans to protect our pets from ticks, fleas, and natural hunters. The area has had an increase of Coyotes, so small dogs and cats need special protection. Remember that electric fences do not stop predators.
We all love our pets, and we must be diligent in their care. Good time to have them visit the vet for annual checks.

“ Phil has been walking our one year old puppy for not quite a year now and we are very pleased with the service. Phil is prompt, courteous, and reliable. He always gives us a quick text message after each walk to let us know how it went; we really appreciate this as it helps us keep track of our dog’s habits and which dogs he has seen on his walk, etc. It is very reassuring for us to know our puppy is in good hands! Phil is so considerate … he even gave our puppy a little gift on his birthday and on Christmas! We highly recommend Phil and Dogs Do, LLC. “

I have used Phil for many years now for my dog Lucy and sometimes my cats. He is always willing to help even sometimes at the last moment when I ask if he can help me out. He always keeps me informed of when he has taken my dog out and what they did and sometimes with a picture. He is extremely courteous, responsible and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for assistance with their pets!!

We love Phil! He has been walking our dog for over 2 years now and we couldn’t be happier. Not only does he love our dog, which is clear from all the photos he sends of them on their walks, but he also is reliable and always on time. Our dog knows when he is coming and is at the door waiting for him every day. Phil always updates us with where they took their walk and how it went. He always makes sure our dog has his jacket in cold weather and plenty of water in hot weather. He cares about our dog as if he were his own and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. We highly recommend Phil and his services.
Dog walks can be 1/2, 3/4, or 1 hour long. Play groups at a dog park are one or more hours. Multiple daily walks can be scheduled for those pets who need them.
Where do we walk your pet? Sometimes it is in the neighborhood, on a walking trail, or in a local park. This would be determined on our initial meeting with you. It is important for dogs to have a variety of experiences during their "time out" with us. They are inquisitive animals where sight, sound, smell, and exercise are all part of the stimulation they need for their wellbeing, as well as their behavior.
The charges for dog walking are varied. There are a number of factors which make up the pricing for our pet care services.
Pricing can range from a minimum 1/2 hour walk for $22.00 to a maximum of $125.00 for multiple visits per day, per pet. Visits may include feedings and medication, if needed.
If you commit to on-going routine, such as a continual two to five days a week walk, you may be eligible for a discount under certain circumstances.
We assure you that the time we spend with your pet(s) are fully THEIR time, and does not include arrival and departure time.
How do we get acquainted?
The first thing is to contact us.
This can be done by phone voicemail or text at (860) 983-5250, or email by clicking Contact above or at phild@dogsdollc.com.
When we initially visit you and your pet for a walk-through, our intention is to have both of you feel comfortable with us. At that time, we will ask for information about you, the Client, as well as information about your pet. If there is a match, we then will set-up a schedule that meets everyone’s needs. This is an important first step towards a long relationship with you, your pet, and "Dogs Do".
